EMPI Back Care Kit – Oversized 4″×7″ Electrodes (EMPI Connector, 5-Pack)
A convenient bundle of self-adhering 4″×7″ electrodes with the specialized EMPI connector.

How to use
01
Skin Prep · Maximum Absorption

Clean and dry skin completely before applying.

Wash the target area with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly. Skin oils, sweat, and lotion residue are the primary causes of reduced pad adhesion and conductivity.

Clean Surface · Oil-Free · Extended Gel Life
02
Smooth Application · Full Contact

Press firmly from center to edges for full activation.

Place the pad on your target area and smooth outward from the center to eliminate air pockets. This ensures complete hydrogel contact for smooth, even current distribution.

Firm Press · Center to Edge · Optimal Current
03
Remove & Store · Protect & Reuse

Peel slowly from edge and return to liner after each use.

Lift one corner and peel back gently—never pull lead wires. Seal pads onto their protective liner in a cool, dry place to keep gel hydrated for maximum reusability.

Edge Peel · Protective Liner · Hydrated Gel
gentle on skin. designed to last.

THE HYDROGEL ADVANTAGE
Medical-Grade Adhesion

Formulated with an ultra-conductive biocompatible matrix,  proprietary HydroGel layer forms a seamless, air-free seal across your skin for consistent, sting-free pulse delivery. Unlike low-tier adhesives that dry out or pull delicate skin, this rehydratable gel maintains its peak tackiness for up to 30 sessions—delivering smooth relief without irritation or sticky residue.

THE CARBON-WEAVE ADVANTAGE
Why Material Science Matters

Engineered with a high-density carbon-cloth matrix, our conductive patches deliver ultra-uniform signal distribution across the target muscle group. Unlike cheap foam or rigid plastic backings, this flexible weave contours seamlessly to your body's natural geometry—preventing hot spots and maximizing somatic relief.

Most Frequently Asked
Will these electrode pads work with my TENS or EMS machine?
Yes. Our replacement electrodes feature standard 2mm pig-tail pin connectors, making them universally compatible with 99% of TENS, EMS, and IF units on the market (including EMPI, Chattanooga and most prescription or over-the-counter devices).
What size or shape electrode should I choose?
2" x 2" Square Pads: Ideal for small or targeted pain areas like knees, elbows, ankles, wrists, and neck.

2" x 3.5" Rectangular Pads: Best for larger muscle groups and broad pain zones like the lower back, upper back, shoulders, and thighs.
How many times can I reuse a single electrode pad?
With proper skin preparation and storage, each electrode pad is engineered for approximately 25 to 30 uses.

If you have sensitive or reactive skin, we recommend a patch test on a small area before first use.
How do I know when it is time to replace my pads?
It is time for a fresh set of electrodes when: 1) the pad no longer adheres firmly to your skin 2) you feel a uneven, biting, or stinging sensation instead of a smooth, comfortable pulse when using your unit 3) the hydrogel layer appears dirty, cloudy, or dry.
Can I reactivate dry or dirty hydrogel?
If a pad loses its stickiness due to surface dust or dry air, place one single drop of clean water onto the gel surface, gently rub it around with your fingertip, and let it sit for 2 minutes to absorb before re-applying to the plastic liner. Never submerge electrodes in water.
How often should I restock my replacement pads?
For consistent daily or weekly pain therapy, we recommend replacing your electrodes every 30 to 60 days to maintain optimal pulse conductivity and hygienic skin contact.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card to purchase electrode pads?
Yes — All Pain Care Outlet electrode pads are likely fully qualified medical expenses. You can complete your purchase using your HSA or FSA card at checkout for instant pre-tax savings
