Empi Select Quick Start Guide:
Before you begin your first session, read the full instruction booklet included with your unit and keep it nearby for reference.
Step 1 — Apply the electrodes
• Turn the unit off before connecting or removing electrodes or lead wires.
• Clean and dry the skin where electrodes will be placed — skip lotions and oils.
• Position 2 or 4 self-adhesive electrodes around your target area. Avoid broken or irritated skin.
• Press edges firmly for a full seal, then connect the lead wires securely to the device and electrodes.
Step 2 — Set up your session
• Turn the unit on and select the recommended program from your booklet or guidance.
• Slowly increase intensity from the lowest level until it feels comfortable.
• Set your session duration — most programs run on a built-in timer.
Step 3 — During use
• You should feel a gentle, comfortable stimulation. If it feels sharp or uncomfortable, lower the intensity or stop and recheck pad placement.
• Stay seated or standing still. Don't use the device while driving, bathing, or sleeping.
Step 4 — After your session
• Turn the unit off before removing the electrodes.
• Return pads to their liner and store the device & accessories somewhere cool & dry.
